Course Overview
Learn to confidently record, mix, and manage a studio session in a fully equipped studio. From microphone placement and signal routing to capturing instruments and working with musicians. This hands-on course bridges the gap between home recording and professional setups.
Upon completion of the Studio Recording Short Course you'll have the practical skills and experience to create professional recordings whether in your home studio or a commercial studio.

Microphone Selection & Placement: Choosing the right microphone and positioning it to capture instruments and vocals.
Signal Flow & Routing: Understanding and managing audio signal paths using an analogue mixing board and Avid HD interfaces.
Pro Tools Workflow: Use Avid Pro Tools for recording, editing, and basic mixing.
Running a Professional Session: Organizing, directing, and collaborating with classmates and musicians during a live session.
