How to Apply

Applying to the Audio in Media programme is free and only takes 3 steps. Have questions? We're here to help!

Entry Requirements

We encourage anyone with a passion for audio to apply! To register for our full-time Audio in Media diploma programme, applicants must meet the following requirements. 

​

  • Be a high school graduate or have an equivalent (GED).

If you're currently in grade 12 and on track to graduate, you are welcome to apply. Acceptance can be offered, pending successful completion of your high school diploma. 

 

  • Provide your most recent educational transcript.

For current grade 12 students, your latest available transcript is acceptable.​

  • Submit a letter of intent that includes:

    • Your interest in audio engineering​

    • Any relevant experience

    • Your career goals

    • Why you are choosing this career path

What to Expect After Applying

If accepted, you will receive an electronic acceptance letter along with your invoice for Registration. Your seat will be held for 10 days from the date of acceptance pending your Registration payment. 

​

  • Be prepared to submit your Registration payment of $500.00 CAD (this includes a $275.00 non-refundable admin fee) within 10 days of acceptance to hold your seat. This amount is deducted from the total tuition amount. 

​

  • You are required to communicate your funding plans with Admissions, such as self-funded, or third-party funding (Manitoba Student Aid, Indigenous Band, etc.)

Once you have submitted an application our Admissions Office will contact you by email with an update within 7 business days.
