Course Description

Editing & Mixing Techniques is a hands-on, beginner friendly course that provides you with essential skills to mix a multi-track recording. You'll learn digital signal routing, mixing workflows, signal processors, and mix a song using the industry standard, Avid Pro Tools software. Upon completion of this course you'll have a solid understanding of the tools and techniques used to mix professional sounding audio, and allow you to take on more mixing projects!


Cancellation Policy

Short courses are self-interest offerings. Completion is at the discretion of the student unless otherwise stated. To receive a certificate of completion a student must attend, to the last hour, all classes and meet the requirement for any applicable tests or exams for certification offerings. In the event that your course start date changes, students will be notified and automatically transferred to the next available start date. Should a course be cancelled more than twice, students will be given the option to transfer or receive a refund minus the administration fee of $100.00 CAD. Registration includes a $100.00 non-refundable, non-transferable admissions fee. A withdrawal must be emailed or called-in and must be verbally acknowledged by a MOSMA Administrator for validation. Withdrawal up to 3 weeks prior to the course date: Refund minus admission fee. Withdrawal after 2 weeks prior to the start date: No Refund. Refunds will be issued by Electronic Transfer within 30 days of acknowledged withdrawal date.
